Traditional Daquiri

2 oz White Rum

3/4 oz Simple Syrup

3/4 oz Lime Juice

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake briskly for 30-40 seconds. Then strain into a Coupe glass and garnish with a lime wheel.

For a simple fun twist on this classic try other styles of Rum, such as a Rhum Agricole, an aged rum or a rum infused with a fruits (either a homemade or one like the Plantation Pineapple)
