Two Worlds, Two Winemakers, One Vision. When César met Miguel Besoaín, Winemaker/owner of Lafken/Ungstein SpA, they worked on a project together and realized they had a common vision of what goes into producing a wine worthy of world recognition. So they joined forces to craft world-class wines.

César and Miguel searched out vineyards in Chile whose terroir would best express the characteristics of each grape variety. Hand-picked grapes, then gently selecting the berries at the winery on the sorting table, followed by minimal intervention, no additives, "honest" wines with a lot of character! Small batches of each vintage.

TASTING NOTES: Light-red color with a slight orange tint, typical of Burgundian-style;Raspberries and cream on the nose are flirty and inviting. Smooth in the mouth with a burst of juicy mixed berries, blood orange, and a tangy aftertaste make for an easy to sip wine. Hints of minerals and violets linger on the finish. 

FOOD PAIRING: This is a versatile Pinot Noir that will pair with a wide variety of foods, including Poultry, Game, Game Birds (like Turkey!), Pork, Beef, Salmon, and soft Cheeses.
