100% Tempranillo from Castilla y Leon, Spain. Certified Organic, Native Yeast, Spontaneous Fermentation.

HISTORY: We are a family winery with its origins in a small town in Zamora, next to the Camino de Santiago. A pilgrimage route that soaks our land with tales and legends. That same land is what fills our wines with character and life. We started this journey more than ten years ago and it could be said that our trajectory has been like a pilgrimage, with hard stages, but the effort has been rewarded in the form of honest wines with character that reflect the terroir from which they come.

ABOUT: For us, wine is an art, it is not simply the production of a traditional product. We can express the values of respect for the land, the personality of some land and the nuances that experience and time give. All that, in a bottle. To work this noble art, we have twenty-five hectares of vineyards that grow on clay soil. All our fields are cultivated organically, from the beginning of the winery. In addition, we have a great human team, which has become a family, which helps us take care of these fields and who understands, like us, that we are only passing through and therefore, we live in an environment that does not belong to us and to whom we must take care and thank for everything he gives us. Without them, our work would be incomplete.

VINIFICATION: Certified Organic grapes. Native yeast and spontaneous fermentation, aged Sur Lie from 3-6 months in Stainless Steel tanks before being bottled.

TASTING NOTES: Light bodied dry Red Wine. Light Ruby Red color. Aromas of Black Currant, Blackberry & Plums, w/ hints of Tobacco & Violet. Juicy & pleasant on the palate, w/ dark and brooding Purple fruits taking center stage, while an ever so soft Herbal edge w/ hints of Tobacco, Leather & Cedar laces the mid-palate and med. length finish.

FOOD PAIRING: A perfect Tempranillo to drink from Spring to early Fall. The perfect red to chill and serve with Appetizers, Light Fare, BBQ/Grilled Meat dishes, Beef, Game, Lamb, & Poultry.
